Sacred Heart School
Letter From the Principal

Dear Parents, Family and Friend,

A neighborhood church has a sign with the proverb:

“Teach a child when he is young,
and when he grows old, he will not turn from it.”

It’s a simple statement, but it says so much. For me, it hits home as a reminder of what an awesome responsibility we share as parents and teachers.

It brings to my mind our mission here at Sacred Heart School:
• To teach our students to live the Catholic Faith,
• To empower our students to attain their highest academic potential,
• To inspire our students to become caring, contributing members of our community.

This mission appears on the walls of every classroom to ensure that we all remain focused on teaching the whole child - academically, socially, and spiritually. It is our goal that the knowledge and values we instill in your children at Sacred Heart will guide them throughout their lives.

This summer the teachers have been working hard to plan for an exciting new school year. One, that every day will cause your children to enthusiastically jump out of bed, put on their “favorite uniform” and come to school eager to learn. Each day and each lesson is a new adventure to ignite their curiosity and their love of learning.

In these challenging economic times, we understand the sacrifice your family is making to send your children to Sacred Heart School. We want you to know that we will provide your children with not just the best in academic programs, but the values needed grow into intelligent, compassionate young men and women.

We hope you are as eager to begin the school year as we are. I can’t wait to see those BIG smiles - on parents and students alike - in a few short weeks. Let’s pray that we’ll have another “YIPPEE” school year!

God Bless you and your family.
Love and prayers,
Mrs. Joanne M Eagan
