Hello Sacred Heart Families,
Happy Summer! We are getting closer to the start of school and updates have been made to our reopening plan.
Updated Reopening Plan
We have decided to open school like we have in the past, Wednesday, September 9, 2020. We will follow a staggered schedule to get our scholars back into the building, acclimated to the space, and new procedures.
Wednesday, September 9- Early Childhood Classrooms (2.9-K)
Thursday, September 10-Grades 1-5 in, 2.9-K Stay home
Friday, September 11-First full day with all scholars 2.9-Grade 5
This added time will give time for our teachers to attend PD pertaining to added safety measures in the school, remote learning tools, and updated technology in classrooms. We will also practice new procedures and protocols in our school.
Masks
All scholars grades 2.9-Grade 5 will be required to wear masks while in the school building. We will be scheduled mask breaks following all CDC, DESE, EEC, and DPH Guidelines.
Temp Checks
We will be taking temperatures at both entrances, if a child should have a fever we would have them go home immediately.
Remote Learning K-5
Families who feel more comfortable with their scholars joining their classrooms via Zoom, please complete the survey so we can set up all needed materials for your scholar to have at home. We will still offer in person instruction this is just an added option for families. Scholars will have to remain remote for the semester or the whole year if you chose that. We will need families to send back this survey no later than Wednesday, August 19, to ensure planning for materials to be out together for scholars.
